Since the beginning of the 20th century, Ainata’s residents began to grow apple trees and develop this sector until today it occupies the first place among all agriculture, and the majority of the people of the village depend on it as the main source of their lives and income. The land currently cultivated is about 500 hectares and the annual production ranges from 125000 to 150000 apple boxes. There are many types, some of them were planted in ancient times and others were planted during the past 20 years. And the most important types are: Scarlet Spur, Super Red Chief, Early Red One, Top Red, Red Washington, Jeromine, Gala Royal, Golden Gibson, Golden B, Granny Smith and Fuji Apple.
